Design Philosophy: The goal was to create a fun, exciting vacation home that still feels cozy and welcoming for its owners.
Materials and Techniques: Experience allowed us to maximize space efficiency, and Cumaru hardwood was chosen for its durability in withstanding harsh weather.
Challenges and Solutions: The small buildable area was a challenge, but collaboration with the client and architect led to a creative and visually exciting solution.
Client Preferences: A low-maintenance, rental-friendly home with unique features and plenty of outdoor space.
Unique Features: Includes a large pool with copper scuppers, a cabana with a TV, firewood pass-through, grill, cathedral ceilings with natural wood, a custom stair wall, and a private outdoor shower.
